Earned his Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the University of Windsor after Chiropractic treatment of his own injuries inspired him to become a Chiropractor. In 2006 he attained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he earned Cum Laude and Clinic Honours distinctions. In 2018, Dr. Bigness became a certified Primary Spine Practitioner from the Universiry of Pittsburgh, and in 2020 Dr. Bigness attained his ACPAC (Advanced Clinical Practice in Arthritis Care) certification.
Dr. Bigness practices an evidence-informed model of Chiropractic, which includes functional and orthopaedic assessment, diversified adjustments, soft tissue therapy, taping, and rehabilitation through exercise.
Dr. Bigness’ working experience includes family practice, clinical lead duties within an integrated health team, team trainer and chiropractor for an OVFL football team, extensive experience with motor vehicle accident claims, as well as independent chiropractic examinations. Dr. Bigness is also the Practice Lead and an Advanced Practice Clinician for the Rapid Access Clinic for Low Back Pain at St. Michael’s Hospital in Toronto, Ontario. His prime objective is to deliver patient-centred, evidence-based care in an ethical manner.
